It’s not easy for sensitive humans to navigate a society like ours. It’s abrasive, ridiculously fast-paced, and sometimes downright shocking. You’re trying your best to cope, but you know that you’re doing so in ways that disconnect you further and further from the things you truly value. Maybe you’ve become obsessive about food or your body to distract from other anxieties, or you’re trapped in a cycle of perfectionism and self-hatred. You wrestle with that negative voice in your head that says you're broken, not good enough, and too sensitive.
I'm
Josie Munroe, and I believe that even if you're struggling,
there's nothing wrong with you. I also believe in
whole-self healing. Our work together will be about more than just coping to survive. Together we will tend to your mind, body, and soul in ways that will empower you to actually
thrive. I believe you (yes, YOU) can heal the wounds keeping you stuck, stop fighting with or fearing food, learn to embrace and respect your authentic self, and step into a life you can
truly
enjoy.
Struggling with eating disorders, chronic dieting, or other food, exercise, and body image issues likely means you're ruled by rigidity or free-falling into chaos. Perhaps both. Your relationship with your body is fraught with fear and distrust. And that's no way to live.
Trauma and difficult experiences can overload your brain and affect its ability to cope. Getting through the day is becomes a chore. You feel constantly on edge or numb to the things that once brought you joy. Yet, feeling like you're broken doesn't mean you are.
Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) think and feel deeply. Because of this, you might find you become overstimulated and overwhelmed much too often. The truth is, High Sensitivity is an incredible gift when you know how to roll with your unique characteristics.

that this too, was a gift."
